Choosing a therapist and investing in psychotherapy may feel daunting. However, it is one of the most productive ways to face the emotions, challenges, and parts of ourselves that may feel unbearable. Within a positive therapeutic relationship, these heavy burdens are shared.
Clients seeking my care are often looking for warmth and guidance as they navigate pain in search of healing. I aim to empower clients to set unique therapeutic goals in support of a future aligned with their values. In my work, I employ humanistic, person-centered therapy and emphasize the importance of our relationship and communication. As we discuss sensitive topics, you will set the pace. We will get to know each other and spend time tailoring care to your specific needs.
I am passionate about working with women, young adults, and couples to address trauma, relational conflict, and grief. I also help clients explore how their identities evolve throughout the lifecourse and in relationships. We face inordinate pressure to improve ourselves constantly. In therapy, we examine the impact of this pressure and create a space where each part of ourselves is embraced in pursuit of wholeness. With compassion for ourselves, change is possible.
