Chances For Change Behavioral Skills

Chances For Change Behavioral Skills Program

Eight (8) Weeks in Duration

This program is currently implemented at Don Lugo High School and approved by the San Bernardino County District Attorney’s Office as well as Chino Police Department as a legal Diversion Program for on-campus offenses for qualified first-time offenders. While utilized by adolescents in this format, the Chances For Change Behavioral Skills Program is not limited by age and can be beneficial for adolescents, young adults, and adults alike, who seek to strengthen their understanding and application of behavioral skill sets.

Each participant will receive a workbook, a resource, helping to guide them through the eight-week program. The purpose of Chances for Change multifaceted. During your participation you may become more aware of reasons why you choose to participate in particular behaviors, or maybe there are skillsets you may not be equipped with yet. Such skillsets include, but are not limited to: Communication, Accountability, Choice, Substance Use/Abuse, Self-Harm, Harm to Others, as well as Avoidant Behaviors. Together, we aim to develop personal goals, discover how to achieve them, and how the participation of particular choices/behaviors may hinder what you hope to accomplish in the future.
