Kari Halko-Weekes, Ph.D.

Licensed Psychologist, Licensed Marriage, Family Therapist, and Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor 

Dr. Halko-Weekes is the Director of Claremont Counseling and Support Center, A Psychological Corporation and Chino Hills Counseling. She is a licensed Psychologist, a licensed Marriage, Family Therapist, and a licensed Professional Clinical Counselor who has been in private practice in the greater Los Angeles and San Bernardino areas for nearly twenty (20) years.  In addition to operating the organization and providing professional care for her clients, Dr. Halko-Weekes has provided an environment within her practice, similar to a training facility where she supervises and trains Associate Marriage, Family Therapists who are in the process of gaining hours and pursuing licensure.

Education

Dr. Halko-Weekes received her Doctoral Degree (Ph.D.) in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Individual, Child and Family Therapy from Alliant University in Alhambra, California and is a licensed Psychologist.

Dr. Halko-Weekes holds a Masters Degree (M.A.) from Azusa Pacific University in Marriage, Family Therapy and is licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist. She also maintains a third license, as a Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), in the state of California.

Dr. Halko-Weekes also is a professional and inspirational speaker and has addressed such topics as "Who I am and how does that affect my role as a manager?", "The art of relationships", "How to identify stress in your children and what to do about it", and "You can't live in a cookie (emotional eating and its consequences)."
