Education and Training
Catherine received her master's degree in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Azusa Pacific University. She received her bachelors degree from Vanguard University with a major in Psychology and minor in Sociology. She completed her clinical training at a community counseling center where she worked with individuals, couples, and adolescents who were dealing with various issues, including anxiety, depression, grief, and communication problems.
Catherine completed her graduate level training at the Azusa Pacific University Community Counseling Center where she worked with a variety of clients from various backgrounds.
Catherine has experience working with individuals and couples dealing with anxiety, depression, grief and a history of trauma. She approaches therapy in a collabritive manner, working alongside the client to establish goals for therapy. Catherine believes that every individual is valuable and unique and is interested in working with clients from all cultural backgrounds. Catherine views the family as a system and believes that family relationships often influence our experience throughout life. She hopes to provide care and compassion for every person she works with and assist them in reaching the goals to live a more fulfilled life.
